Use the power of a mandala
A mandala is a representation of existence. Superficially, we can use a mandala to find more inner peace and balance. In spiritual practice, a mandala can help us experience that the universe's ultimate way of existence
exists within ourselves always.
The Kalachakra Mandala
I have chosen the Kalachakra Mandala as the basis for developing a tool to find more balance in your life.
The Kalachakra Mandala is many millennia old and its detailed description goes back to Buddha Shakyamuni, who presented the Kalachakra Tantra 2,500 years ago. This tantra is described as the highest because it is the most comprehensive. Its precious teachings have been authentically preserved in the Pure Land of Shambhala and in the mountains of Eastern Tibet to this day.
Currently, the Tibetan Kalachakra Master Khentrul Rinpoche opens new paths to this ancient knowledge, so that all people have access to this very special treasure of knowledge.

The Kalachakra Mandala integrates relative and absolute levels of our body, speech, and mind.
On each of these levels – corresponding to the four cardinal directions – the four elements of
earth, water, fire, and wind are represented.
All planets and elements, all emotions and their wisdom, as well as all our activities and much more are reflected in the Kalachakra Mandala.
Inner and outer peace come from balance
This decade's central question is, "How can we create Global Peace in this world?"
My answer is, "By many people finding and living their inner peace. Only through this, values and rules can develop which can lead to healthy communities which consider inner harmony and outer peace as life principles."
The Balance Your Life-Mandala© is an instrument to create inner harmony. Only a peaceful mind can act in a way that fosters peace.

The Balance Your Life-Mandala© integrates the three activity levels of body, speech and mind. Combined with the four elements of earth, water, fire, and wind, we therefore have 12 fields of action. Here are a few examples of how to assign activities to the four elements:
How to use the Balance Your Life-Mandala©
- Write down some activities that you have engaged in often recently.
- Assign each activity to one of the 12 action fields.
- Spend two minutes asking yourself which activities would be the opposite of these recent
activities of your past. Write down these balance-activities. - Assign each balance-activity to one of the 12 action fields.
- Now you know which balance-activities will naturally bring you back into balance.

→ You recognise in which elements and on which levels you have been more or less active.
→ Now that you are oriented, you can take further steps towards more inner and outer peace.
