Pedagogy with an Edge
Pedagogy with an Edge
We are all aware that teaching and facilitating learning needs to be adapted or re-designed to help students and participants develop the people skills necessary for moving towards the SDGs, especially in formal learning settings. In previous CoP meetings, we talked about these people skills and tried out methods to support their development. For example: Multisensory Methods, Deep Listening, Powerful Visioning… What we have not yet discussed is the pedagogy that is needed to embed these methods in existing courses: how can we slightly modify an existing course and introduce learning edges? When can we use what method to what effect? What guidance do participants need?
Come with your examples of courses you’d like to adapt; bring your practices and theoretical insights: we’ll discuss how to enable learning edges for the IDGs and SDGs – even against the grain…
