Guided abundance meditation is a practice that cultivates an open, spacious awareness, and employs visualization to enter into a state of expanded awareness, non-judgement, compassion, open-heartedness, and personal empowerment. This is a wonderful guided meditation for total beginners as well as experienced meditators. It works beautifully as an opener, an element in a ceremony, as a mood-shifter, or as a way of accessing deeper emotions and ways of knowing.

I believe that literally everyone benefits from this kind of meditation.
That said, it is important to remind participants that this is their meditation, that they can engage in the way they want to, they can stop at any time.
You can reinforce that by posing meditation instructions as invitations or options as opposed to commands.

Our minds are so powerful! By imagining that we are floating in an ocean of abundance, we can create new neural pathways and open up our inner vistas. This can impact our mood, our creativity, and our ability to have new ideas. Here is a 10-minute guided abundance meditation to access YOUR ocean of abundance. Find a comfortable position and let's drop in.

There is also an audio recording that you can either listen to first or play for the group. Welcome to this guided meditation for swimming in the ocean of abundance. Let’s begin by finding a comfortable position. You could be seated or standing or lying down, but choose a position that feels good to your body right now and strikes a balance between being comfortable and being alert — not so comfortable that we’re falling asleep we’re getting drowsy, but also not so alert that we are tense or creating stress for ourselves. Once you settle into your position of choice, let’s begin by bringing awareness to the breath, and noticing the physical sensations of the breath. How does the breath move your body? Where in the body do you experience the breath the most clearly? Maybe at the tip of your nose you can feel the air moving in and out or perhaps in the nostrils you can feel the air maybe you can feel your chest or even your whole torso kind of rising and falling with each breath or maybe it’s most accessible to you in the belly feeling the belly rise and fall If you are having a hard time accessing the breath, that’s normal. You can just set your intention to experience the body as it is right now without trying to change anything. As we continue to feel the breath wherever we can in the body, or to hold the intention to feel the breath, we continue to arrive… to arrive in the space… to arrive in this body… to arrive in this moment. Let’s see if we can give ourselves these next few minutes to just be. …to relax and to release into this moment When you’re ready, imagine that you’re floating in the ocean. You’re completely safe. You’re totally relaxed. The water is just the right temperature and the waves are really gentle so there’s this sensation that the ocean is breathing in your whole body, rises gently, and falls gently with each breath in and out. As you rest into the ocean's surface and feel safe and at ease, you can dive down into the water and notice once you’re under there that you can breathe. So you can stay under as long as you like and you can find yourself floating, flying, dancing in 360°, moving at all and any direction. Your limbs and your torso stretching and rotating, floating and flying. As you continue to dance and move, finding freedom and nourishment, you gradually become aware that this is not just any ocean. This is the ocean of abundance. You begin to understand everything you need for your physical nourishment, for your energetic and emotional well-being—everything you need is right here…. and not just what you need but as far as the eye can see more than enough! Total abundance. As you continue to twirl and dance, or maybe you settle into simply floating, you begin to open yourself to truly receive this abundance. The pores in your skin begin to open and ever so gently, ever so naturally, with no effort whatsoever, all of this nourishment, this well-being, this creativity, this aliveness, this life energy, this wisdom, deep compassion, and profound sense of spaciousness… it all seeps in through your pores. As you float or continue to dance, this deep abundance begins to saturate through your skin into your muscles and your fascia. It begins to penetrate all the way into your bones. Once your full physical being is deeply nourished, It also saturates your energetic, emotional and mental beings. You cannot help but release any sense of holding, any sense of tension or concern or fear, and then, naturally, as you’re fed with all of this nourishment and wisdom and compassion, you can’t help but begin to beam it out. It begins to spill back out of you and back into the ocean of abundance. You can rest here in this state of receiving and radiating abundance for as long as you like. and when you’re ready, you can gently bring your awareness back into the space and into this body. You can scan through your body and notice what might like to move maybe some stretching or twisting and open your eyes to taking some light and look around the space that you’re in. Now you can carry this abundance with you throughout your day and offer it to anyone you meet. Thank you so much.
