Hosting Empowerment

Hosting Empowerment was a three-year project funded by the EU Erasmus+ program. Our objective is to enable people in challenging situations to take control of their own lives and to contribute to shaping the world with their uniqueness. We envision a society where each person is capable of influencing their own circumstances and destiny. Therefore, our mission is to inspire and nourish people in difficult circumstances as well as those who care for them. We researched how to create settings that strengthen courage, self-confidence, and self-efficacy. We developed and distributed methods, tools and skills to enable facilitators to become even more effective in supporting their participants to become increasingly empowered and active.

Find the booklet in your language, fill it out on your computer or print it out. Use it to dive into your inner world in search of greater clarity and confidence about who you truly are, and then prepare that true self to step out into the outer world and show up in your full greatness.

The result is a Youtube Playlist with empowering life stories from all over the world. How do other people deal with the challenges in their lives? How have they managed to do something they didn't dare to do before? Let yourself be touched by the stories of courageous, vulnerable, strong and thoroughly alive people from all over the world.

Interactive digital learning journeys into your powerful self

Let Innertopia, the travel agency for discovery tours into your inner landscapes, take you on an exciting journey to your powerful personality. We have put together four longer journeys and an ample collection of short trips for you - with reflection exercises, inspirations, meditations, bodywork, action and communication tasks, colourful and varied with videos, audio, images, texts and interactive fields. We will gradually be adding the Journey of Trust, the Creator’s Journey, the Decision Making Journey and The Story of Your Life Journey to www.hostingtransformation.eu, as well as a collection of short excursions in English, German, Swedish, Hungarian, Portuguese and Italian.

Story of this Project

Who are we, and why and how should we do this?

WHO. We are a group of leaders and facilitators from Germany, Italy, Hungary, Sweden, Austria and Portugal, who work in “Transformation Academies”. We all empower and support individuals and communities to actively shape society towards a more humane, joyful and sustainable world.

WHY. The ‘why’ is easy: not only for their own sakes but for all of us, the state of the planet and of human civilization calls for the participation of everyone in crafting a viable future for humankind. ‘No-one left behind’.

HOW to empower specifically vulnerable groups to be part of this venture? To become effective agents of change in their own lives as a preliminary to influencing the community and society in which they live?

We explore how to create settings that strengthen courage, self-confidence, and self-efficacy, curating, testing and honing methods and pathways with proven results.
